  1. Secondary – There will be an assembly on Tuesday at 10:45 in the auditorium for all grade 10 students who will be writing the OSSLT.

Secondary – If you chose IDC4U, LINK Crew, as one of your courses for next year during the course selection process and have not handed in the application form, please note that they are due by lunch today. Please bring them to the Main Office. Additional copies are also available in the Main Office.
  3. Secondary – Attention all grade 11 and 12 students: Try-outs for the BCI badminton team will begin today from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. They will continue Tuesday at 2:30 and Thursday at 4. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Dixie.

  3. Secondary – Attention Photography and Media Art Students: Thousand Islands National Park in Mallorytown is hiring high school students. They are looking for a Photographer and Graphic Designer. Job would be from July 4 to September 4th and student wage is $12.26/hr. Ability to speak French is an asset but not a necessity. Applications are due NOW. If interested speak to Ms. Lewis.

All Red Rams – Congratulations to Mr. Bell and the Sr. Boys’ Basketball Team.  The boys played their best game of the season and won the LGSSAA championship title with a score of 64 – 30.  Every member of the team played last night and contributed to the win.  It was a very exciting game to watch!  They advance to EOSSAA next week in Cornwall.  Way to go Red Rams!

  1. Secondary – Students who applied to Carleton University are reminded of the follow-up session today in the Auditorium. Reminder, this was by invite only. Please report to Period 2 for attendance, then proceed directly to the Auditorium as the session will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m.
  2. Secondary – All students have been sent an e-mail from Mrs. Wright regarding course selections for next year. Mrs. Henry has also sent an e-mail with links to websites that will help you in your planning. Please make sure to check your school e-mail asap as we are starting course selections on Monday.
  3. Secondary – Hey girls! It’s time to get training for rugby! Come to the gym today from 2:30 – 4pm. Bring gym attire, water bottle and a mouth guard if you have one. We will get fit and practice basic skills. If you are new to rugby come out, give it a shot and learn about this great game.

Flowers will be on sale in the lounge at lunch. Don’t be a gooney… bring your toonie!
  12. Intermediate – Due to missing a day due to inclement weather, Intermediate Student Council has extended the class door decorating contest to Monday, February 13. As well, Valentine’s Candy Gram sales will now continue at both nutrition breaks through till Valentine’s Day. Finally, wear red and pink on Tuesday, February 14th and the class with the most red and pink articles of clothing will win Valentine’s Day treats!
  13. All Red Rams – Grad Photo Retake Day is Tuesday, February 14. Grade 12 students are asked to sign up in the office for a session in the A.M. Grade 8’s will have their sessions in the P.M. and do not need to sign up. Grade 12 students are reminded of a $25 sitting fee due that day unless you have already paid it. You must bring in your first pictures as proof you already paid the sitting fee.
