  2. Secondary – Attention all grade 11 & 12 students: Western University will be here on Tuesday, September 26th during Period 1 to deliver an information session in the Auditorium. In order to attend this informative session, you must sign-up in Student Services. Please note that if you sign-up for the session, you must attend. Students are asked to please sign the list in Student Services before the end of the day Monday. Also, Brock University will be here on Thursday, September 28th during Period 5, you have until Wednesday end of day to sign-up for this one.

  1. Secondary – All students who signed up for the University of Ottawa presentation today during Period 2 are asked to report to Period 2 for attendance first and then proceed directly to the Auditorium.

The Brockville Rowing Club will be hosting an information session today at 5:00 pm at the club. This is an open invitation to all high school students from Grades 9 -12. This session is information only and not a workout. There will be a tour, meeting of coaches and other information including dates, times and fees. If you cannot make it and are interested, please call the rowing club at 613-342-4849 or see Mrs. Henry in Student Services.

  9. Intermediate – Terry Fox knew before he passed away that there would be an annual run in his name and helped to establish the values and vision of the Terry Fox Foundation with his family. Today, his brothers and sister carry on the work to continue Terry’s legacy. Terry once said that it would be the youth who would carry on his dream to find a cure for cancer. Let’s all work together this year to help those suffering from cancer.
  10. All Red Rams – Concert Band will start today in the music room from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. We will organize small ensembles from there as well.

Date: Saturday, October 14th, 2017, Time: 9AM – 4PM (approximately), Wage: We would be open to signing off on volunteer hours if the student would like or we would offer $20/hour. Anyone interested, please see Mrs. Lukassen in the main office.

  7. Intermediate – For millions of people worldwide Terry Fox is the face of cancer research. His Marathon of Hope inspired a country and The Terry Fox Run continues to motivate people here in Canada and around the world. To date, over $750 million has been raised in Terry’s name. This year, our school run will be held Thursday, September 28th. Don’t forget to fundraise and do your absolute best to reach your goal.
