  1. Secondary – Attention Rambassadors! Ms Lewis is looking for two students who would like to participate in a World Cafe event at the Brockville library on January 18th. Supper is included. Please see Ms Lewis as soon as possible if you are interested in being a Canadian student representative.
  2. Secondary – Attention students attending the After School Literacy Courses with Ms Lewis: The literacy courses will be postponed next week due to upcoming exams.   If you would like extra help preparing for exams please speak to Ms Lewis directly.   The literacy courses will begin again on February 5th.
  3. Secondary – Attention all grade 9 students: Cocoa and Cram is here! Tomorrow during MSIP check in for attendance and then head to the cafeteria with your binders to learn study skills and to review with the Link Leaders. Prepare to work on exam review tomorrow during MSIP!
  4. Intermediate – Due to the Snow Day last Friday, the Grade 8 Grad Photo Day has been rescheduled to this coming Friday, January 19.

1. Secondary – Mandatory ELL Meeting today. International students are to meet with Amanda today at lunch in the cafeteria. Today’s meeting will be about exams. Attendance will be taken. 1. Secondary – Members of the secondary Boys’ Hockey team are asked to please attend a brief but important meeting today at the beginning of lunch in room 326.

2. Secondary – The Sr. Boys’ Basketball team will be practicing in the gym at lunch tomorrow. As a result, there will be no open gym time for secondary students on Wednesday.

1. Secondary – Come down to the Student Lounge at lunch and buy some homemade, delicious Ginger Bread Men for only $1.50 each. All funds raised will go towards the United Way, which helps people who are on the poverty line in our community. Be generous and help those in need.

2. Secondary – Thank you from Mrs. Pattingale to all the music students who shared their Christmas cheer with the local schools and hospital over the past month.

3. All Red Rams – Congratulations to Clairese who successfully auditioned for the National Youth Band. She will be travelling to Montreal in May for a week of rehearsals and performances.

4. All Red Rams – This is the last day that the Intermediate Student Council will collecting donations of mitts, gloves, hats, scarves and other small winter clothing. 5. All Red Rams – The Sr Girls’ Hockey team battled hard against Rideau District High School but unfortunately lost 2-0. The girls played great and had plenty of shots but could not get past their excellent goalies. Good game girls.

9. All Red Rams – The Varsity Girls’ Hockey team opened up their season yesterday with a convincing shut out win over Gananoque Secondary School. The goal tending and defence were stellar in shutting out a battling Gan offence while our forwards kept up a smothering fore check that helped produce 12 unanswered goals. Congratulations girls on their first victory!

9. All Red Rams – The BCI Boys Hockey Team played their first three games yesterday and were undefeated. They tied St. Mary 1-1 and won 4-1 vs North Grenville and 3-2 vs Gananoque. Ben and Anthony back stopped us to an undefeated start. Other notables were Max and Aiden. They were stellar on defense. Go Rams go!
