1. Secondary – Our final secondary Student Council meeting will be held today at lunch in the art room. All current members and anyone interested in joining council next year are invited to attend.

2. Secondary – Any football players out there? Anyone who’s interested in giving football a try? Sign-ups for the NCAFA Rideau Redblacks are available now! For any further information, speak to Robbie.

3. Secondary – Are you looking for Community Service Hours? Victim Services is looking for volunteers to help at their StrawBeary Festival on July 1. If interested, please e-mail sarah@vslg.ca.

4. Secondary – In an effort to keep noise down during exam time, please take some time today to clean your locker. Please be sure to put all garbage in the garbage pails provided. Thank you!

5. All Red Rams – The last day to purchase food from the cafeteria is today. Starting tomorrow, the servery will be closed for business but the cafeteria seating area will remain open. Caroline and Kristy in the cafeteria would like to thank all the students for their business over this past school year and would like to wish you all a safe and happy summer. They will see you again next year!

6. All Red Rams – Every student with an elevator key who has not yet spoken with Mrs. Lukassen in the main office is to do so today, please.

7. All Red Rams – Be sure to check the Lost & Found in the main office, the gym office and the intermediate wing before leaving today. All remaining items will be donated to charity in the very near future.

8. All Red Rams – As you have probably noticed, there is construction work going on over at the Brockville General Hospital. Beginning on Monday, June 25 and lasting for a period of over three months, blasting will be conducted Monday thru Friday between 7:00a.m. and 5:00p.m. with approximately eight blasts occurring per day. Prior to each blast there will be a series of warning whistles. Please be advised that we do not know how loud or disruptive these whistles and blasts will be.

1. Secondary – There will be a ring toss game today in front of the auditorium during lunch. The cost is 50 cents per game. Stop by to support Ibuki’s fundraising for kids who cannot go to school in Laos and Thailand. Ibuki’s Japanese treats and prizes are waiting for your high score!

6. All Red Rams – The Intermediate Track & Field team participated in the UC Cup at TISS yesterday. With unfavorable weather conditions, many athletes represented BCI well. Evan took 1st in shot put, while Madi took 2nd. Anna-Lena placed 2nd in both 800 m and long jump. Ella and Ronit make it to the 100m finals and Ella also made long jump finals. Well done this track season! Mr. Moore will be collecting singlets.

7. All Red Rams – Last night students from BCI showcased their talents at the SHIFT fundraiser here at BCI. We would like to say thank you to all those who performed, you did a fantastic job!!!!

1. Secondary – Are you looking for volunteer hours? Do you want to help with prom? Mr. Hunter, in the art room, is looking for students to help. The most help is needed from 7:30pm until 9:30pm to tear down after prom. Sign up with Mr. D. Hunter.

2. Secondary – Do you still need to complete your community hours? Westminster is looking for volunteers to help at their spring carnival. The carnival will be taking place on June 13th from 4:30-7:30. This is an opportunity to have some fun while helping your community. If you are interested please see Ms McMullen.

3. Secondary – Attention all BCI secondary athletes! The Athletic Awards Assembly will be taking place today! All athletes and coaches are invited to attend! A pizza lunch will take place in the gym at 11:16am, followed by the awards assembly in the auditorium during periods 4 and 5.
